?V= ?Z- l*Tan??dt

X= ?Z + R*Tan??dt

It then says by differencing the above 2 formulas you can get these two equations below

V = Z – R?*(Tan^2??dt +1)
X = Z +R?*(Tan^2??dt +1)

Can anyone explain me how this is the case?

Ive got a calculator allowed test tomorrow and need a list of what i need to revise?
also, how many marks you need from all three papers (paper 1, paper 2 and mental arithmetic) to get either a level 6, 7 or 8?
i am doing paper 6-8 if that helps?
